this morning i was pleased to see the double “high” bars on my digital fertility monitor. so i hope this indicates that i’ll ovulate around cd 15. i’m so very excited. all the signs are still consistent- yesterday A checked my cervix and found that i had EWCM (egg white cervical mucus), though it was not quite 1 inch yet. i’m thrilled!!!!!
now we’re up to 3 different types of opk. we have as #1, the clear blue easy digital fertility monitor that keeps track of your highs and peaks month to month. then for during the day testing to check my LH surge so that we can pinpoint ovulation, we have the clear blue easy digital ovulation sticks. finally, we have the first response ovulation sticks since they detect the LH surge 36 hours in advance– some books saying 48– so that i can plan accordingly to take time off work. i’ll follow up with a pic of “collection” tomorrow. next month, A starts her insemination so i’ll get to be the one playing “doctor” with her. sticks, monitors, speculums, OH MY!
I like the new blog! I’m excited to read about you & your wife’s journey to starting a family! You are in my prayers.
