soooo anxious

no i’m not talking about ginuwine though the song takes me BACK!

i’m so ready for pepita to be here. since about the end of december, i’ve been having nightly dreams about her (it’s a girl most of the time in my dreams, though other times the baby is gender neutral). i catch myself daydreaming constantly about holding her, smelling her, and everything. i now understand why ppl are so anxious towards the end of the pregnancy– we just want our baby here FINALLY.

Oh, you’re getting so close to holding that precious Pepita! Of course you’re getting anxious, you’re about to become everything to a little person!
My advice: make one last trip to the store and buy another 2 dozen burp rags (buy cloth diapers, because those cutesy little burp cloths don’t soak up baby puke at ALL and they’re too darn small! You’ll need as many for the kids’s face as you will for his/her butt). You won’t believe how many of those darn things you will go through in a day. And while you’re there, pick up about 10 more sleep n plays. All those little outfits you’ll get as gifts are adorable, but seriously, these are soooo much easier than pulling something over that baby’s wobbly melon, especially since you’ll likely be changing clothes a couple times a day due to puking and diaper blow-outs.

Oh good! Some of my coworkers who just had their 1st babies are amazed at how many times a baby has to have his/her clothes changed! Farty and Ceara have tons of amazing clothes, and I buy mine at the Goodwill, haha. I forgot to add Baby Kisses lip and cheek balm by Boudreaux. It works miracles on chapped cheeks in dry or cold weather. Especially when the drooling starts. Love their Butt Paste too!
Oh, I can’t wait to hear all about the wonder that is Pepita!

I remember this feeling as well. Well since I am a Burt’s Bees fanatic of course it expanded to my kids. To this day I actually get very nostalgic when I smell Baby Bee Buttermilk soap. Since, I think PepitO is going to be a strapping young male person, lol I am soooo anxious as well for the arrival.

In the mean time just enjoy the solitude…really, seriously…ENJOY IT!
