love, life, and the pursuit of liberation

this is a test, it is only a test

I used to mess with this preacher’s daughter. She has since decided to work on her heterosexuality. Yet, she still is fascinated by my life. Today she asked how my ttc journey is going. I gave her the short update. Her response, and yes this is a direct quote

“girl it might just take a sperm out of a male spouse as much as you deny the Law of God, ever thought it just is what it is my dear?”

I wonder if she was thinking about the Law of God when she was fucking me. Yeah, I said it.

A time ago, I used to try to argue and defend. Instead I told her I was praying that God reveals the need why she feels to be so concerned about my life and that she learns how to be more sensitive and less judgemental.

I think God is putting all of these people in my life to challenge me to be more discerning with those areas that I give my attention. It also helps me solidify truly what is important.

I am just tired of people trying to inflict their values on others (and I use the term ‘value’s loosely, since many of these opinions have no value at all, but anyway…).
I, for one, am hoping for great news in a few weeks. No one I know deserves it more.

Sorry you had to deal with such foolishness. I can’t stand it and I’m so annoyed you had to deal with it. But you’re right: it does help crystallize what’s truly important.
